spirituality beyond world religions

Question:  Can any of the world religions help me understand myself?

Adonis:  I want to go into the importance of being oneself.  You see when you are a Christian or belong to any world religion; you must be pretentious and always putting on masks.  Because the reality of your life is one thing and you want to be another according to an idea or ideal.  This is the cause of conflict and confusion.  Your life is one thing and so you desire for something other than.  To live ones life in suppositions leads nowhere.  Truth is in the here and now.  The fact is all this attachment we are covered with is the problem.  So all your life you are taught to gain knowledge, but the secret to moving within is in negation.  You have to flow with every fact and not fiction.  All while you are trying to accumulate knowledge, wisdom negates the known and you will awaken to the real. 

The things that I tell you are accurate and true, only thing is you are trying to understand me through the intellect.  The self only exists in darkness and wants you to remain there.  So when I speak to you of things that are not of the darkness of this world, you can not grasp it because it is out of the realm of mere knowledge.  There is a point when the mind as noise comes to an end.  One must relax and just let it be.  The whole head feels like emptiness without limit, no sound, just perception.  There is no thinker and yet you can think.  There is no need to think when there is the fullness of perception.  You see we do all this thinking because we fail to SEE.  So out of fear, we resort to the past for answers in thought, knowledge and form.  We are afraid to set ourselves aside and let perception function freely.  The power of perception is without limits, it is beyond the limitations of thought.  It is intelligence.  And if you are willing to listen, it is GOD!
