What Are The Spiritual Sayings Of Adonis?
There is an ancient Saying, 'Be careful what you ask for, because you might just get it.' The thing is, are you sure, you want to discover the Truth, God? Are you sure, you want to awaken to the Eternal? In fact, if you are sincere and should you awaken, you will be free of all that is false in this life. Now, what many people in the world will be concerned with is what the Sayings are and how do they come to me. What are the Sayings? Is this one of the greatest questions I will ever have to face? I do not know if I can explain what the Sayings are with sheer words, perhaps I may express it with great clarity if I went into what the Sayings are not. The Sayings are not logic, religion, psychology or philosophy. The Sayings are free of all limitations, restrictions and beliefs. They are viciously direct, simple and to the point. Of course, there is the content; insights, experiences, stories, poems, songs, letters, and so on. However, the very essence of the Sayings is beyond all that. To be honest, there really is not anything mysterious about them and I really mean that. I have nothing whatsoever to teach another human being of a spiritual matter. My hands are empty and there is nothing spiritual to give to another. I feel certain that every individual has complete access to the sacred, without exclusions.
Spiritual words pointing to the Divine.
My friend, do not overly concern yourself of what the Sayings are. It is really nothing at all. What is most important is to understand who you are. The Sayings are here for you to see yourself and understand the workings of your own mind, thoughts and feelings. You see, to have no consciousness, no mind, is like a circle without circumference. It is to be whole and all-inclusive. When there is no 'self,' there is totality in ones perception. It is from here in which the Sayings reflect the sacred and so I point it out to you. To point with great simplicity is perhaps the root meaning of the Sayings, but primarily to point directly without platitudes and without giving empty knowledge. To me, this probably expresses the subtle meaning of what the Sayings are. These Sayings are revelations, like a finger that points to the unknown. Why concern yourself with the finger instead of where the finger is pointing? What is necessary is to have a heart that is filled with the intense desire to discover the truth of all things, for it is here that all the Sayings reflect the formless.
Spiritual perception is not a thing of the mind.
For most of us, we speak even when we do not have anything of importance to say. As a youth, I never had anything to say and I had no problem with remaining silent. Now that I feel I have something of importance to say, now I speak. From the essence of silence, I speak and from the quintessence of that silence in me, the Sayings flow. I speak for those who are truly serious about finding the meaning of this life. Therefore, to discover the truth, you must be very honest with yourself and not be so burdened with what others say and think. There are no opinions and beliefs when there is understanding of the facts of existence. It is to see your own life completely and clearly. Everything rests on your own understanding of yourself. The Sayings is only a tool so you may see and dissolve the ego and awaken to the truth.
If you, as a human being are not concerned with discovering the Truth for yourself, then the Sayings may not appeal to you. They are for those who are serious about awakening and not for those who only want to know rather or not I am awake. Until you are free and awake, you will never know what I am. What does it profit you to be concerned with the persona of who I am, who speaks the Sayings? Simply understand that I surrender to the Sayings that flow in me and that is all. Place no importance on me. My life is the Sayings and the Sayings are my life. He, who understands the Sayings, understands himself, which brings wisdom. The Sayings and your life are one, when you learn to see yourself as you are. This means, it is up to you to be deeply concerned with your life, 'as is.'
Spiritual awakening is a process within.
The Sayings are insights designed to do one thing only, to point the way of ‘no way’ within you. The spiritual Sayings are here for awakening to the Truth and not as some belief or faith. It is not for those who want to be deluded by the religions of the world. It is the clarity of seeing beyond all religions.
To believe in divinity means you are blind, lost and confused. In this realization, you will actually discover for yourself that Christianity and all the world religions have failed humanity. It also means you have failed humanity, if you do not discover for yourself what is real. The Sayings challenge the fact that, the only usefulness of all the so-called religions of the world, is to help you escape from your everyday calamity. In addition, the same goes for the Sayings, if you do not understand what is being pointed out to you. Without understanding yourself and the wholeness of life, there is great sorrow and the continuity of suffering in which ignorance breeds. These Sayings are for you to see who and what you are, actually. They have nothing to do with any particular religion, philosophy, or Ancient Egyptian wisdom. It is like an open book that tells the story of your life as you are living. Only by reading the story of your own life, can there be change and transformation of a spiritual human being beyond ideas and materialism.
Spirituality to awaken and transcend the world.
Do not think that I have come only to tell you about what is revealed in me. In fact, I have come so that you may see for yourself without theorizing. Do listen and realize that out of compassion, I share this with the whole world without any exceptions. You are free to do with the Sayings whatever you want. The Sayings live on whether you listen or not. It is up to you to understand. No one can interpret the Sayings for you. You must take this journey alone. The opinion and ideas of your parents, friends, husband or wife may have of the Sayings, will not lead you to the Eternal. He, who understands himself, reaches the furthest shores and no longer has a need for the Sayings of Adonis or any so-called holy scriptures. When at once, that sacredness beyond all reasoning is revealed in you, it is best to simply throw the book away and live in that Glory.
