Sword of Truth
Have you ever been in a situation in which your life is at stake? Many times, I have engaged in various forms of the martial arts in which some of the greatest duels are those of swordsmanship. At first, you train using wooden practice sticks and then for actual development of skill, it is necessary to go up against an opponent of immense skill, with a very sharp and dangerous sword.
To be great at any art, the eradication of the 'self' is paramount. In the face of danger, the essence of ones whole being is completely awake and alive with a great intelligence. That intelligence has the power to move the sword and body of its own accord. In this, the totality of all your senses functions as one whole. There is no room for thought and no time for thinking. There is nothing for ‘you’ to do. It is total letting go, being completely open and letting nature take its course. It is only that intelligence, your inner essence that is outside the field of time and space that is all knowing and all seeing into each moment.
Spiritual Meditation is the awakening to Truth.
In the art of swordsmanship, the slightest error and your life is forever changed. If you have had sufficient groundwork in body and mind, the sword will strike, appropriately. In this endeavor, there is no opponent. There is complete relationship between you and the other. The two of you are one. There is no 'me' doing anything. It is to move without effort in complete relationship. It is here that one learns the art of being ‘all there and not there,’ simultaneously. Action is not of the conscious process in this effortless way. In this art, your actions are not your own. Because all thinking is dissolved, you are no longer living in reaction. Spontaneously, without thought, you are in total action. It is the art of facing the certainty of death, which is the awakening of awareness within you. Now you see for yourself what it means to be alive and not merely surviving. It is truly breathtaking. In such moments, you discover you are the quintessence of life. In such realizations, you see clearly the fullness of life and its fundamental nature exposed.
Only in truth, is there freedom of all sorrow and suffering. Truth is like a double-edged sword and cuts in all ways, as a destroyer of death and the awakening of eternal life. What is important is to be a true soldier of life, fully armed with the sword of Truth, which destroys all illusions. In me, fully awake, there is this wisdom of Truth that has come to cut through the ignorance of this world. If you look and listen deeply, I will show you the doorway to the
Spirituality is the clarity of perception.
Within me, there is total silence not formed by any means. In fact, this silence is not born from the absence of noise and disorder. This sacred flame that burns in me is all there is. Nothing is greater than this. This living flame can never be extinguished. It was never born and it will never die. It is to live outside the field of knowledge, time and space, beyond the furthest reach of mind and its limitations. No religion can bring you into contact with this domain. Nothing leads to this and no bridge can be formed to it. To find it, is to lose oneself, entirely. To take a single step in any direction is a movement away from its doorstep. The key is to see oneself just as you are. In such seeing, there is no one in you to see and discover the truth of this. When you least expect it, it is just there. Like a sacred flower, that needs no care. This is the life-giver of all things. It is the joy within the heart of all humanity and the Highest Principle. For that reason, it is up to each of us to discover this for ourselves. It is to see the unity of life and complete happiness, in all there is. In this spiritual liberation, there is total freedom, unconditionally.
