      Spiritual Meditation Transcends All Meditation

Before we go into this, please realize I am not interested in convincing or persuading you into anything.  For me, that has no meaning.  If you are seriously interested in discovering what is God that is all that concerns me.  All beliefs, faiths and all the religions of the world, have no meaning irrespectively of what belief you may adhere to.  None of the world religions have any bearing on reality.  Truth is one thing and your religious beliefs are another.

As a fellow human being, I have no interest in preaching to anyone.  That does not concern me at all.  It is truly paramount that you discover what you are.  The lack of knowing oneself is the darkness of this world.  All I can do is point you towards seeing yourself and the truth of what you are brings about its own awakening.  And the beauty of that is sufficient.

Please, fully understand the fact that a spiritually realized human being does not have a particular method of meditation or religion.  After all, what would he do with it?  No religion or belief can lead you to enlightenment.  What I say is not as important as you seeing this fact within yourself.  You may go to church or to your so-called holy temples and read your endless scriptures, but the fact remains; you are lost and have no understanding as long as you do not know thyself.

Spiritually Understanding Yourself

With all the second-hand religious teachers who have no personal experience or understanding, you remain in the confusion of darkness.  They are only filled with empty platitudes to impress those who are lost.  And so you have no understanding of what you are.  Their teaching blinds and binds you to this life.  So you do not know yourself at all.  You must fall in love with the art of learning the facts of your whole life.  Humble yourself like a child and observe the workings of your mind.  Let go of all that you know and see yourself for what you truly are so that you may take flight beyond sorrow.  Then you will see life is a beautiful thing that unfolds within you.

One of the great secrets of spiritual awakening comes when your mind is quiet.  When there is stillness, there is clarity in which spirituality is living thing ones life.  The sacredness of religiosity comes when the mind is free of all your daily turmoil, empty of all its content, empty of this so-called self-entity that you think you are.  Only then are you receptive to that which transcends the mind.  Then perhaps that Glory beyond all things will awaken within you.  It is the ending of oneself, the very ending of the illusion of being an individual, will you awaken to that joy that encompass all things.

Let no one deceive you; spirituality can not be cultivated by any form or system of meditation.  All such meditation can only bring about the silence of the mind itself and not the sacred silence that is beyond the mind.  Believe whatever you want, nothing and no one can bring this to you.  That which transcends this life comes not because you are quiet but in spite of it.  Like a drop of water returning to the ocean, you discover you are the whole ocean.  And this living joy, this glorious illumination is beyond your meditations, prayers and devotions.  It is life in its wholeness; it is life in its pristine essence.

Spiritual Discovery Of Oneself

Spirituality is to discover for oneself rather or not there is something beyond this material world.  This is the ground of spiritual inquiry.  No one can give you this and no one can awaken you to this.  Deliverance can only be discovered within when the mind is perfectly still and you are completely silent.  And if you are open to understanding, God is silence beyond the mind.  Then you will realize the greatest secret of all is within you.

Perhaps, you have some idea of the word meditation.  Now, throughout the world many are advocating so many different kinds of meditative practices.  And so, I feel it is necessary that I clarify what this word means so you are not confused.  By definition, one may say that meditation is the art of listening and observing the movements of the mind and its workings.  And in so doing, the mind is made silent.  So, I am speaking of something completely different.  Is there a meditation that is not put together or molded by mind?  Is there a meditation that leads beyond the limited silence of mind?

Now, there are so many different kinds of meditation of one form or another.  There are endless teachers all over the world who advocate their particular formulation.  Please realize when I use the word meditation; I am not speaking of any particular type of meditation.  For they are all man made.  The meditation that I speak of is not put together by the mind and it has no form, method or technique.  It is one of the most sacred of all things.  It is a letting go and flowing with life, as is.  So I call it spiritual meditation to stress the importance of meditation that is not something that the mind created or formulated by man.

Spiritual Meditation Beyond All Meditation

Spiritual meditation is the open door of psychological death which comes without any kind of force or pressure of the mind.  Without effort, listen and observe your thoughts, feelings and emotions, profoundly.  Throughout the day, from sunrise to bedtime, observe and listen to everything within and around you without any desire to change what you see.  Let the mind flow, freely.  Do not pick and choose what arises.  Simply listen and observe, keenly.  Let this watching take place with the fullness of attention.  Observe and listen to every movement of the mind.  Simultaneously, be fully aware of ones body, breath and heart beat.

Through pure watchfulness, something takes place in which the mind can not imagine, fathom or touch.  For all the movements of the mind must come to an end without any trick of any kind of meditation.  This full arresting of the mind comes without any movement of any kind of self interest.  It must come unhindered by any form of desire or coercion.

If you are truly serious, something happens of its own accord.  And it is really rather simple.  It is one of the greatest spiritual secrets of all.   It is the awakening of life in its wholeness.

If you are truly interested in discovering life beyond this life, spiritual meditation is the open door to the beyond.  It is this watchfulness which is the light of intelligence in which you see the cause, movement and cessation of mind as noise.  It is this spiritual meditation that burns away all the accumulated noise of the mind and its movement.  When at once you are truly silent, that which is beyond the mind enters your being.  And in the full awakening of this perception, there is no name for this beautiful love which lives within you.
