Spirituality And Consciousness

Question:  Even though we do not know it all because no matter how much you know, in this path you will always continue learning.  We are just in different planes of consciousness and I need to work diligently on my self in order to expand my level of consciousness. Thank you for the nourishment that you are providing me with, I take it all with an open heart and an open mind.

Adonis:  It is to live in the state of 'not knowing.'  In the not knowing, all is. It is not about working diligently on yourself which implies effort and struggle.  Besides, what do you know needs to be done?  Whatever you do is a movement of shadows.  It is for each of us to understand, we must let perception act in every crack and crevice of our lives.  When the self acts, all our actions are limited, confused and chaotic.  When direct perception acts, it is complete, whole and sacred.

Question:  I know it is getting late but can we continue our discussion on perception?  I really want to understand this completely.

Adonis:  Actually, I was up late last night writing some spiritual insights and poetry.  I think that I have found the key to all creation, to everything.  A way to express life using a simple idiom.  The expression that I am creating will point to the oneness of all seemingly unrelated things.

Now in regards to your question on perception.  What is important is not to get trapped in the beliefs, ideas and concepts of perception.  The self will simply create these abstractions 'about' perception, which is not the fact of perception.  The self can have no part in understanding the pristinity of perception.  It is like night trying to understand the day.  Where there is one there is not the other.  Now the trick of the self is this.  The conscious self wants to remain and at the same time, it wants to see what is beyond itself.  In fact, the self is the cause of ones blindness to the wholeness of life.  As long as the darkness of the self is within you, how can the spiritual light of truth enter your being?

It is really rather simple.  I have come as an example only.  One that says, if I can do it, so can you.  That is the original intention of anyone who points to the infinite.  When I say, ‘I am the end of man,’ it is to say that I have found the highest potential of all humanity, which is our highest intention on earth.

What may actually astound you is that, I feel like a child who has been given full access to all the secrets of life.  I live in the midst of celestial wonder and yet manage to live as if I see nothing.  It takes tremendous humility to live in this living presence that transcends all things.  

Like I told you before, I speak very little of what I actually see in order to give you only the necessary spiritual food that gives you the sufficient nutrients to awaken to that eternal essence.  Out of love, out of great compassion, this revelation is for the sake of all humanity.  

Question:  You have a wealth of knowledge for all of humanity.  I have many other questions to ask regarding perception.  I enjoyed talking with you the other day; it was a very informative discussion.  Again, thank you very much for your guidance, my heart feels wonderful.  Speaking with you, I am on top of the world!  Now tell me, why this conscious self must end when in fact it is all that we know?  I think I understand but I want to be sure.

Adonis:  The ending of you is the beginning of the sacredness of life.  I cannot find truth with my thinking self.  The you, the ego, the persona, the conscious identity, must end without effort.  The self must see its own limitations and through that understanding, it ends.  It ends when it realizes and  discovers that it is a dead thing from the beginning.  It has no actual life in the present moment, here and now, because it is a bundled entity trapped in the past as reminiscence.  When there is spiritual love, which is not of the past or future, the self is not there.  

Now listen, why do you try to differentiate energy, dividing the gross from the subtle?  It is all the same energy only of different vibrations and quality. Who is the entity in you that is going to try to distinguish the difference anyway?  Even that entity must go.
