                                    Spiritual Blindness

Question:  You never speak about ghosts and spirits.  Are they real?

Master Adonis:  There is a Chinese saying, ‘He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask is a fool forever.’

Now, the young lady is asking about ghosts, spirits and all other such things.  Now, understand, when you ask such questions from what point of view are you asking this.  Are you asking because you have seen ghosts, know of ghosts or simply heard others talk about them.

All such things of the occult or spiritualism, I wonder if they are actual or a figment of the imagination.  We must find out not according to anyone else but ourselves, actually.  Understand, one of the easiest things in life is to believe or disbelieve in something.  Which is rather credulous.  So what she is asking is; basically, is there life after death?  Understand?  Now how do we actually go about finding the truth of this?  Have you ever given this such thought?  Have you ever probed into finding out such a thing on your own and not depend on what others have said?

I may have had certain experiences in my past but, for the moment we are not discussing that.  We are asking, is there actually such a thing beyond our physical perceptions?  And if so, can I see into it now.  Not later.  Not drift off on a tangent and imagine all sorts of strange things.

As long as the mind is tethered by thoughts it is clouded and can not see, clearly.  It can not see, wholistically.  That is a very critical factor.  As long as my consciousness is filled, I can not see.  That is rather obvious at least within me.  You understand?   So the mind has to be still.  Not made still.  That is a rather vicious thing to force the mind into such a state that leads nowhere.

Now, can you actually do this so there is clarity within you?  What I am asking is; if I am blind how can I see anything beyond myself?  So, I am suggesting, if there is life beyond can I see it now?

Spirituality transcending this life

The mind as self, we are asking, does it continue after death?  It has no meaning to assume you have a spirit or a soul.  All that is nonsense postulated by all the religions to sell you over to fear.  As long as you are full of fear, you are blind.  So it is important to free the mind of all fear and see for oneself what happens.

The thing is none of the religions want you to be free of fear.  Fear is one of  the greatest controlling mechanisms they hold over you.  And so, they can sell you their ideas and propaganda for a price.  As long as you are bound, as long as you are cramped and distorted by fear and pride you are doomed.

Spirituality is to be free from fear on every level of existence.  Let not a single ounce of it into your life.  If there is fear in your mind and heart, you must examine it.  Not try to hide or suppress it.  You must face it and understand it.  The heart of fear is the root of all darkness.

Now, we have come to this point of probing deeply.  You are listening with the wholeness of your being to all we are saying.  The whole movement of the mind is arrested and quiet.  Not by force but by understanding, attentively.  In this quietude, here and now there is freedom.  The total freedom from the movement of fear and its continuity which is thought and desire.  In the here and now, there is no self with all its fears, thoughts and whatever else you think you are.

So when we ask about things of the occult we no longer have to depend on others.  Now we can see for ourselves.  Not outside of us but within us.  From within, we may look and see for ourselves and not depend on psychics and the occultics.

Spirituality is beyond all psychic abilities

When at once we actually can see for ourselves, that which is hidden is revealed.  That which may not actually be a mystery manifests right before our eyes so we may end it all.  Why be trapped into all this?  The discovery of the truth transcends all that.  All such things belong to the mind and the no-mind.  All such things is merely psychical.  Spirituality is to understand yourself and transcend the limitations of mind and its so-called mysteries.

So it is not that anything is hidden or concealed from you as much as you are simply blind, psychologically.  And when at once you can see for yourself, all obscure things that are impermanent falls away as insignificant.
