The Dreamless Dream Of A Spiritual Being
Do you know what it means to be completely open? Do you understand what it means to be receptive and walk the earth utterly vulnerable? Surely, it is to be transparently real. It is to see yourself with great clarity, just as you are, without the desire to change or alter what you see and feel. This is the way to understanding oneself in order to live beyond mere existence and substance. In the search for truth, is there a method or way that truly points the way? With all the world religions, philosophies and new age theory throughout every era look at the condition of this world we live in. Surely, the state of the world is the outcome of all we think, believe and have achieved. We are the product of all our past actions. Look at the world in which those before us have left us. This world is our inheritance from those before us. Look closely at the world you have chosen to leave to your children. What will it take to bring about a drastic change that will transform this brutal world in which we are all responsible? Only in the awakening to the truth is there the possibility of transforming this world we live in, holistically.
Truth is not discovered in scriptures, no matter how sacred you may think those scriptures are. For your life as a human being is greater than any book ever written. What is important is to live life to the fullest in which the idea of death has no place in your heart and where fear has nowhere to insert its ugly claws. As long as we identify ourselves as being separate from our fellow man, there will always be strife, throughout the world and within us. It is only in the power of seeing clearly, that this 'self' is realized as a false representation of our ultimate reality. As long as our perception is distorted and corrupt we are doomed to continue living in chaos and confusion. It is rather fundamental to look into the heart of life and see that for oneself, the illusion of being divided one from another is ludicrous. It is here, the distortion and corruption of 'self' enters the scene of life. If you look even closer, you will see that no one is against corruption inwardly or outwardly, as long as you are the ones doing the corrupting. Because of this distorted perception and lack of clarity, the heart and blood of man runs cold and corrupt, right down to our very bones, does it not?
Spiritually awakening beyond all dreams of this life.
Perhaps, in school you may have been taught some of the things of how the mind works. However, I doubt if much was understood without probing into oneself through direct self-knowing. A seeing for oneself the movements of the mind as thought, feelings and emotions. Only in the understanding of oneself is there the dissolution of 'self,' which created all the separation, division and corruption in the world. The ending of the 'self' is the awakening of wisdom. The 'self' forms the delusion of attachment and the desire for detachment. Only in the freedom and ending of the 'self' and its entanglements is there wisdom born of its own accord, which is to live without attachment. He, who realizes this, becomes the sage and the master of life, devoid of ego and the idea of selfishness. Now, in this realization I can say without self-centeredness, I have found the secret source of life or rather it has found me. As a fellow human being, I did not come to awaken you; no man can do that for you. You may go your whole life believing such a thing if you choose to delude yourself. Know that I have come to show you that as human beings, we are sound asleep and that is sufficient. That is enough to begin questioning life for oneself. That is what is needed in order to inquire into this. To be inquisitive and not except any answers from another, is the foundation and the art of having no way as the way. This is the undisclosed knowledge, which is in all our hands. It is in the awakening to 'That,' which is the wholeness of all life. It is to realize the ultimate goal in life is to seek reality.
Therefore, I say this not to shock or impress you but to simply share in this glory. That which you seek, I am. In this, I rejoice. Let no man, woman or religion deceive you, there is only one way, which is to have no way, to awaken to the Dreamless. It is to look within your own being for the
