The great illusion of this life is our idea of a so-called 'self’ that is supposedly living here in life. By name and form, we think that we exist as mortal beings. Have you ever questioned this 'self' that supposedly exists? It is up to you to look and discover the truth or falseness of it. There might or might not be a subjective being within you called 'me.' Perhaps, there is only the wholeness of life that is neither personal nor impersonal. As a human being, it is vital that you question every aspect of life and find out for oneself. Not with just spiritual matters but all factors of humanity.
Spiritual Wholeness In Your Life
In spirituality, life is whole and not divided as scientific or creationistic. All life is one complete wholeness. But, as human beings we are so divided within ourselves so we look outward with that same mentality. A this or that point of view. Through division we have compartmentalized our lives. In each corner of our lives we attempt to bring order while harboring greater disorder in another. What is important is to look at life holistically. When we discover we are life, the idea of choice cease to be. Therefore, there is no distinction of Christ or Buddha or whomever. And when at once you awaken to this, then it is up to you to point it out to others. When at once you awaken, you become the open door beyond this limited life. In so doing, then you will see that, the one who points is not as important as THAT in which one is pointing to. As long as you actually find the source of all things, what does it matter who points. Because of ignorance and prejudice we aimlessly wonder from pillar to post and never finding the goal of all life. It is like the wind being captured in different containers and calling it various things. Life just IS. Observe this fact and live in the totality of the moment.
Spiritual Development Beyond Religion
To awaken is the actual realization of life. It is the intuitive perception of this truth which breeds freedom; not a belief, religious faith or intellectual assertion. It is the oneness of all life and the absence of a separate entity called 'me.' (The 'me' is the original transgression of spirit and the fall of man. The ignorance of man thinking he is a mortal being!) To be spiritually awakened is to see that you are not a separate individualized self or soul, but the fact is to discover you are the immortality of LIFE. Seeing this directly for oneself is clarity.

Illumination is simply the dissolution of the illusion which makes you see everything from the point of view of 'me'. Observe the fact of this and break the illusion now and you will discern the greatest secret of all. Metaphorically speaking, it is like a drop of water dissolving into the ocean of life and then discovering it is the living water, itself. The lack of seeing this is obscurity. The lack of seeing the truth of what you are is the breeding and continuity of ignorance. That is the true meaning of darkness which binds the heart and mind of man.
Spiritual Enlightenment That Transcends This Life
When at once you are truly still, truly silent, there is THAT which comes, uninvited. Not because you are still or quiet, but in spite of it. This benediction of life awakens within you and that is the only salvation. The beauty lies in seeing this for yourself. No preacher or priest can deceive you ever again. You will no longer be blinded by your lack of full understanding. Then you will truly know the hidden secret that is the perfume of life.
Enlightenment, if I may use that word, is a transformation of seeing. This seeing is beyond the falsity of division. It is the ending of the limited, individualized center of a 'me' to SEE life in its totality, a transformation from being a limited circle with the illusion of a 'me' as centre, to a circle without circumference that is endlessly everywhere and yet, nowhere. It is that which has no name. To give THAT a name like God or Brahman or Truth is of no actual meaning. The glorification of seeing this is the spiritual awakening that transcends this life. In fact, this silent stillness within me is eternal life.
