The Sacred Power
Throughout the world, some are discussing a so-called force that awakens in man and brings about certain psychic powers and insights. The truth is, I really doubt if you would ever want such a thing to happen to you. The actual experience that takes place is not what you may think. There is nothing glamorous about it. If it should ever come to you, you will not want it. That which comes will affect your life deeper than you can ever imagine. It is like opening oneself so completely; there is nothing for you to cling to or grasp. There is nothing at all.
When such power awakens in you, whatever you may or may not have heard about the sacred power becomes rather irrelevant. To the Ancient Egyptians it was called, 'arat-sekhem' and in the east, it is better known as kundalini. Whatever name you may call this creative essence, know that it is outside the field of knowledge and self-control. Once it takes hold of you, it is a process devoid of your selfish capacity and interference. Some have tried awakening this force and I really doubt if it can be aroused by any superficial means. I doubt if it can be produced by any means of a conscious effort, regardless of what anyone says. Actually, I would say be careful even discussing this. Do you know what it is like to have living energy moving within you? Without self-knowledge, you have no idea of what this is like. To want this in ones life is ignorance. The 'self' cannot want for this. It cannot come when you are ensnared in a self-centered life of fear and desire.
Spirituality is beyond the reach of the mind.
So, in a few words I will express to you as best I can of what I mean through my own experience. However, only if you are willing to listen, completely. Within me, there is the quietude that is not the outcome of ending noise. Silence without a cause, comes of its own accord. It has nothing to do with any kind of belief or religion. Now, if you are willing to listen then please listen closely as I tell you about what took place in me. One day I was sitting at home and without warning, a very sharp pain that felt like a needle penetrated the base of my spine. This caused me to leap all the way across the room rather far. At this time, I had no idea of what this was that was happening to me. This abrupt action is pure energy being aroused into its creative and sensitizing state. This power began pouring all the way up my spine. I could see, feel and hear its movement within me. The intense sensitivity that accompanies this transformation is very severe. You do not want such a thing to happen to you.
During this time, I had never heard of such a creative power within man. So, the shock of what was taking place in me was completely innocent and new. Intense and with a great roar, this strange essence was pouring its way to the top of my head. It felt like it was taking place beyond my physical body but I could not understand it at all. During this time, in heightened states of elation my eyes would change to a shining, glossy white and distant look within.
Spirituality is the immensity beyond time.
Of course, I went to the medical doctor but they did not know what it was and they simply guessed, erroneously. Eventually, this power reached beyond the top of my head and there was this great sense of compassion for everyone and all things. Such immense power and deep insights was flooding my mind. I was in rapture and the purest ecstasy. What took place in me is far too vast and immense to put into words. How do I explain to another what it is like within me? I fully realize that I am the unborn. I was never born. In this realization, I have no mother or father, sisters or brothers. In Truth, I am all things, life itself. In me, there is no death. There is nothing for me to fear or desire.
No one can use words to convey the true essence of this to another. At times, I have deep insights and visions of other Beings beyond the physical plane of consciousness. You must see and experience this for oneself. It is to realize that the full awakening to all knowledge is here and now. Total union with all things is beyond comprehension of the mind as knowledge. It is like stepping outside the field of the knower and the limitations of knowledge. To see the wholeness of life within you is a wondrous thing beyond verbal or written expression. It is to discover the mysteries of life for oneself. It is here that all the psychic powers are hidden. The spiritual powers of healing, visions, clairvoyance, and wisdom and so on. However, it is here the door is open to awaken the purity of love, peace and indescribable joy. This is the realization of being and not becoming. There is no enlightenment in which the self can grasp. There is no one in you to become enlightened. It is the ending of oneself without effort or aspiration. Because 'you' are not, that sacredness comes. That which is beyond the minds’ understanding is just there. It is the total integration of life and the living of ones life unconsciously and effortlessly. Within me, I have reached the point of no return. Blessed are you, should you awaken to this. It is to live in this world without being of the world, like a lotus flower in the center of a murky pond. Live out your life as an ordinary human being as if you know nothing at all.
