Spirituality Beyond Pleasure And Pain
In this life, there is the idea that there is life beyond the known. Throughout the world, all the religions advocate there is life beyond this life and they each proclaim to be the answer. Now, if you are at all intelligent you will question their claims.
Looking at the state of the world, one can clearly see they do not have the answers to solve our fundamental problems in this life or beyond it. So, it is up to each of us to find out for ourselves, is there something beyond our daily life that is truly sacred.
Is there a life beyond our known existence of daily pleasures and its constant companion of pain and sorrow? Only when we look within ourselves can we discover if there is something that can truly bring joy into our existence.
The fact is, we are psychologically crippled by all the sorrow in the world. So we must find out for ourselves to discover the truth. when at once we are free of sorrow only then the eternal peace can manifest within us.
Surely, this is the true meaning of religiosity. Religion is not a group effort of blind people congregating to hide their ignorance. The understanding of oneself breaks the bondage of ignorance and the discovery of truth is ground of spirituality.
As serious human beings, we must seek what is the real. What is the reality that brings love within this life? Is there such a thing called God, actually? Such questions has to be answered within ourselves. And if we should seek, surely we will find this love, this peace which transcends the sorrows of this world and this life.
Anthem of the Unknown
Realize, I am the end of man
I am the source of all things
Be still and I will come to you
Here and now is the entrance to my kingdom
Neither night nor day is found in me
All that you need to find me is within you
Humanity holds the key to my door
Unknown and untouchable for eternity,
Rest in me only
The beginning and the end; you shall see,
I am the eternal Glory.
